Man I Love Films

Created by Dylan Fields (Founder of the Large Association of Movie Blogs) and Kai Parker, Man I Love Films is a site that very-much sticks to the community spirit of the LAMB. For many weeks, I had free reign of a section creatively titled “Classic Columb” (gedditt?), thus forcing me to make time in my week for researching and writing about established films. I also managed to, slightly ambitiously, re-appropriate the term classic and covered ‘Modern Classics’ through fan-favourites Star Wars, Rocky, Superman, Planet of the Apes and The Dark Knight series. A personal high-point was when Sight and Sound release their once-a-decade Greatest Films of All-Time giving me the chance to rewatch – and watch for the first time – some established classics including Citizen Kane, Vertigo, Man with a Movie Camera and Sunrise.
